Clinical Psychologist
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is key to facilitating positive and long-lasting change. I aim to demonstrate the compassion, warmth and understanding required to achieve this and identify the origins of, and factors maintaining, your psychological difficulties before working through a collaborative treatment plan based around your specific needs and therapeutic goals. I specialise in working with adults experiencing complex, severe, long-standing and 'difficult to treat' psychological disorders including:
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Relational and attachment based difficulties
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Disordered Eating
- Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
- Social Anxiety
- Specific Phobias
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
- Depression/Major Depressive Disorder (MDD; including 'Treatment Resistant' Depression)
I utilise a person-centred, integrated approach to therapy blending various modalities tailored to your specific needs, including EMDR, CBT (including Trauma Focussed CBT & ERP), CFT and ACT. Drawing on my clinical research into 'treatment resistant' disorders, as well as my academic background in the fields of Clinical, Health, and Sport and Performance Psychology, I aim to help guide you towards your therapy goals and take an active part in your recovery journey.
My fee is £150 per session and I accept referrals from most major medical insurance providers.
