About our work together
I’m Taruna, a Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of experience in mental health, including 15 years within NHS. I’m registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP), and I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Bristol.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your individual experience. I specialise in working with adults and children, and I have intermediate training in Systemic Family Therapy. Whether you’re seeking support for personal challenges, relationship dynamics, or trauma recovery, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where meaningful change feels possible.
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to your unique needs, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), and Systemic Therapy. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), offering a flexible and holistic approach to emotional wellbeing.
