About our work together
I’m Nadia, and I’m a dedicated and compassionate counselling psychologist, committed to supporting people with their mental wellbeing. Prior to working in private practice, I have provided psychological therapy in the NHS, as well as in various schools, colleges, universities and charities, so I have years of experience of assisting individuals of all ages, and from many walks of life. I’m here to help you to explore and navigate life’s challenges, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or something else.
I believe that each person is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic techniques to meet your specific needs, creating a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. In my work with children and young people, I use play-based and creative therapy tools to suit the unique needs of their age and developmental stage.
Whilst I can integrate a variety of evidence-informed therapies in my work, I primarily use Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
