Our Specialists

Dr Adele Mackintosh

Dr Mackintosh is a Principal Clinical Psychologist within the NHS, specialising in cognitive assessment to aid diagnosis, cognitive rehabilitation, and therapy related to adjustment. She works with adults over the age of 16 who present with various neurological disorders such as epilepsy, brain injury, dementias, Tourette’s syndrome, functional neurological disorder (FND), and movement disorders. Dr Mackintosh offers assessments of cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and provides support for issues related to memory, attention, language, and other thinking skills at a competitive rate.

Dr Andrew Wood

Dr Wood is an HCPC-registered Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, with over 13 years of post-qualification experience in the NHS. He has specialist expertise in the assessment of neurological disorders, including Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Brain Injury, Functional Cognitive Disorder (FCD), Stroke, Tics/ Tourette’s, Parkinson’s disease and other rarer neurological conditions. He provides high-quality neuropsychological assessments for adults, including those establishing diagnosis, prognosis and Capacity, as well as assessments to inform rehabilitation and therapy.

Dr Lisa Gadon

Dr Gadon is an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of post-qualification experience in the NHS, specialising in working with adults across a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, adjustment disorders, loss, and bereavement. Dr Gadon also conducts neuropsychological assessments for cognitive difficulties and has expanded her practice to include medico-legal assessments since 2022. She provides comprehensive and objective court reports for personal injury cases, based on thorough psychological assessments, reviews of relevant background information, and the use of standardised outcome measures. To date, she has completed 70 court reports for cases involving road traffic and workplace accidents.

Dr Louise Legg

Dr Louise Legg is an experienced counselling psychologist specialising in neurodevelopmental assessments, with a focus on ADHD and verbally fluent adult autism. She integrates these assessments into her therapeutic work or offers them as standalone services, making them accessible at a reasonable fee. With personal experience of the assessment process, Dr Legg is dedicated to conducting evaluations over multiple sessions to ensure thoroughness. Her approach includes psychological assessments and informant interviews, ensuring a holistic understanding of her clients' needs. Dr Legg is trained by Marilyn Monteiro in strength-based autism assessments, and she is committed to writing her reports in a neuro-affirming way, highlighting her clients' strengths while providing clear, constructive guidance for their development.
