Dr Lisa Gadon

​I am Lisa, a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of post-qualification experience in the NHS. I specialise in working with adults facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, adjustment disorders, loss, and bereavement. My expertise also extends to neuropsychological assessments for cognitive difficulties.

Since 2022, I have expanded my practice to include medico-legal assessments, providing expert witness services with comprehensive and objective court reports for personal injury cases. My extensive clinical experience equips me with the skills necessary to assess mental health disorders, provide prognoses, and offer treatment recommendations for psychological injuries resulting from accidents.

My court reports are meticulously prepared, based on thorough psychological assessments, a review of relevant background information, and the use of standardised outcome measures. I have completed the Bond Solon Expert Witness training, required for the University of Aberdeen Bond Solon (UABS) Expert Witness Certificate, ensuring that my reports adhere to the highest standards of medico-legal requirements. To date, I have completed 70 court reports for cases involving road traffic and workplace accidents.

I understand that recounting the experience of an accident and its psychological impact can be distressing for some clients. Therefore, I strive to create a supportive and empathetic environment during assessments, ensuring clients feel heard and understood.

Recognising the importance of timely report submission in legal contexts, I aim to complete reports within two weeks following the psychological assessment.
