Dr Liam Grisley
Chartered Clinical Psychologist
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). I have experience working across the lifespan, supporting individuals with a range of mental health difficulties, from mild to severe, in both NHS settings and private practice. My approach is holistic, recognising the complexity of mental health and how it can be influenced by various factors including trauma, environmental stresses, and life transitions.
In my NHS role I work as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in a staff support service supporting staff in both individual and group settings.
In my clinical work, I integrate evidence-based therapies tailored to the unique needs and values of each client. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and systemic approaches. I work collaboratively with my clients, helping them explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while supporting them in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or adjusting to life changes, I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to work through these challenges.
My fee is £120 per session, and I accept referrals from most private medical insurance providers. I would be happy to have a free 15-minute telephone consultation prior to any first session to make sure that I would be the right fit for you.
I look forward to working with you on your journey toward improved mental health and wellbeing.
