HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist

Life can be challenging, but finding the right support can make all the difference! With over 13 years of experience helping people navigate difficult times, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths, overcome obstacles, and build new ways to navigate difficult times.

Are you finding it hard to manage a traumatic experience, stress, or low mood? Facing a change in life that feels overwhelming? You might feel self-critical, struggle with assertiveness, or be concerned about substance use, irritability or your sexual thoughts/drive. Whatever has brought you here, I’m here to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to help you make sense of your experiences and move forward.

I’m Laura, an HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist with 13 years of experience working with individuals through some of life’s most challenging circumstances. To find out more about the work Forensic Psychologists do and how we work, visit our blog.

My approach is active and tailored to meet your specific needs, drawing on Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), EMDR, and Schema-Informed CBT. Together, we’ll work on building the skills and knowledge you need to live the life you want to lead.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I also bring nearly a decade of experience training and supervising other professionals working therapeutically. I’ve been involved in developing nationally-utilised therapeutic groups, giving me a deep understanding of what it takes to support meaningful, sustainable change.

If you’re ready to explore how therapy can support you, please get in touch using the contact form below to schedule an initial session. My fee is £120 per session.
